Coaching
Adam is available to coach teachers and school leaders through the complicated maze that is leading in a contemporary school environment. Being able to find perspective within a highly task driven occupation is leverage that focuses, motivates and brings our strengths to the fore. Adam’s ongoing coaching sessions immerse participants in an effective and challenging conversation.
Facilitation
Does your school or learning organization have a burning issue? A glass ceiling if you will, that no number of attempts to break through can cause even that tiniest crack? Or perhaps you are looking to manage a change in your educational setting that has the potential to worry or even scare away your very best operators and colleagues? Adam’s work is in facilitating sessions from 1 hour to 3 days that open possibilities that were not previously imaginable. All of which can be achieved through balancing the right mix of heart, motivation, knowledge, courage, data and best practice. But most of all, Adam can demonstrate how to engender a collective will to change for the better. Schools are often subject to “cookie cutter” programs that want their work rolled out in a specific way – but here is an opportunity to have a subject matter expert work with you on YOUR context through a conversation geared towards your own organizational goals.

Adam is currently writing “The Education Imperative” which is a detailed and entertaining look at how we can plan for better results for our students – not through focusing on solely learning outcomes, or just only the warm and fuzzy classroom climate. Adam’s approach is to get just the right blend of all of the imperatives – data, intuition and anecdote – that most contemporary educators and leaders need to tap into each and every day.
Mentoring
Adam runs mentoring sessions on “The Education Imperative” where he questions teachers and leaders on how our actions and decisions are matching up against the important imperatives that we balance in education. These mentoring sessions allow you to take up the chance of matching your vision, actions, decisions and strategies against a paradigm that has been shaped by contemporary research and some down to earth, old fashioned thought leadership.
Training
Ever wished a trainer was available to run a workshop that hasn’t spent his whole life selling training packages – but rather a person who has done and is doing the work of learning and leading from the top? Adam offers workshops to schools, communities, councils, parent groups, leadership groups that can last from one day to 5 days in topics ranging from streamlined strategic planning through to Individual Behaviour Plans designed to work and based on Applied Behaviour Analysis theory.
But at the same time, Adam is mindful of the old “drop and run” approach to workshopping that has been so prevalent and so regularly meaningless in schools. Adam has workshop packages that partner him as a “critical friend” to your organization for up to 12 months – where regular visits, classroom based sessions, unlimited phone/email contact and even video conferencing are a feature of his commitment to helping the learning stick – for good this time around.
